If you are 7 months pregnant, we recommend use of sedan chairs. Sedan chairs play important part in carrying you from briefing point to where mountain gorillas are in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park or Volcanoes National Park. A group of about 5 porters will assist carry you on the sedan chair during your gorilla trek. Our team will book for sedan chairs early before you travel for actual gorilla trekking and they cost USD300 for locally made chairs and about USD 500 for modern chairs. When it comes to time for photography, feel free to tell porters to put you down so that you can capture pictures and also watch clearly these massive apes.

Book a flight to Bwindi or Mgahinga National Park

Yes, road transportation comes with lots of interesting things to see en-route but considering your condition, we recommend a flight instead. Fly in gorilla safaris to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park can be arranged by your tour operator on ground. Daily chartered or scheduled flights are available to take you from Entebbe Airport to Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrips. Upon arrival at the airstrip, your driver will pick and transfer you to the park using a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle.

Have plenty of drinking water and snacks

Carry plenty of drinking water, snacks to keep you hydrated throughout your gorilla trekking journey. This will help keep you stronger and hiking to see your gorilla family becomes easier.

Do physical exercises
