Hotel des mile Collines is a very large hotel in Kigali, Rwanda. The hotel became famous after 1,268 people who took refuge inside the building this happened after the Rwandan Genocide of 1994.the hotel is managed at the time Paul Rusesabagin.

Sabena was on the Belgian airline he built the Hotel des Mille Collines in 1973, the hotel is owned during the Genocide.
There was bribing at that moment where by the Rusesabagina bribed the Hutu Army with a lot of money, drinks, food and water.

The hotel is a four star category with 112 rooms, café, bar conference rooms, restaurant and swimming pool. However in 2005 Sabena hotels sold Hotel des Mille Collines to MIKCOR hotel holding, the group of Micor owns 2.5% by the Rwanda Development Bank and government of Rwanda,
The hotel is setting for the film Hotel Rwanda; however it never appeared in the movie, which was largely shot in South Africa. The hotel does however appear in 2005.
