4 Days Safari Overview
Kibale forest has 13 varieties of primates like Chimpanzees, the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys and manageably. This Uganda safari package also includes a nature walk at Bigodi / Magombe wetland which is definitely an unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Entebbe / Kampala-Kibale National Park-Visit Bigodi wetland
Have breakfast; meet our guide and after drive to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you about 5 Hours to reach Fort Portal in the afternoon and have lunch at gardens restaurant, after lunch take a leisurely walk at Bigodi/Magombe swamp to search for the rare shoe bill / Sitatunga. Dinner and overnight at Kibale safari lodge / Kibale primate cottages / Kibale forest camp Meal plan: F/B
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking-Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take breakfast, enter the forest in search for chimpanzees the experience is quiet exciting and adventurous. Expect to see other species of primates such as Baboons, Red Columbus monkey, Black and white Columbus monkey, Grey cheeked mangabeys, Red tailed monkey, Birds like sun birds, Turaco, pitas and other bird species, butter fly species etc. after lunch or lunch en-route as you transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and as you enter take en-route game drive to sport variety of Uganda wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, topi, oribi, warthogs among others. Dinner and overnight at Mweya lodge/Katara lodge/Enganzi lodge/Bush lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Dawn game drive through the Kasenyi sector and the queens’ mile in the park and will reward you with animals like Lions, elephants, hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Bush bucks, Warthogs, Hyenas, civets, aardvarks, Leopards, and many more. Lunch, after in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel that connects lakes Edward and George. The launch cruise will reward you with game like hippos, elephants, buffaloes and birds at the shores. Return to camp for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day 4: Kyambura Gorge Chimp Walk-Kampala / Entebbe
Have breakfast and after take guided Chimpanzee walk into the Kyambura Gorge and expect to spot other primates white and black Columbus, variety of bird species and variety of plants. After embark the safari van and drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch and then transfer to Entebbe airport to embark your scheduled return flight back home with memories of this 4 days Kibale Chimpanzee tour.
