7 Days Uganda Safari Overview
Some of the destinations you will visit include Queen Elizabeth National Park and Kibale Forest National Park respectively. Activities to encounter include game drives, boat rides, chimpanzee habituation and more.
Day 1: Entebbe / Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast, meet our guide and thereafter transfer to north-western Uganda via the Luwero Nakasongola and stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking and later have your lunch and then after drive through the Budongo forest and visit the top of the falls to experience the amazing water flow through the rock gorge. Dinner and overnight at Chobe safari lodge/Paraa safari lodge/Murchison River lodge/Sambiya River lodge/Fort Murchison lodge. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Take breakfast, and after go for morning game drive through the northern part of the park and will reward you with animals like Lions, elephants, hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Bush bucks, Warthogs, Hyenas, civets, aardvarks, Leopards, and many more. Lunch, after take a boat ride on the River Nile close to the amazing falls, on this cruise you will spot wildlife like hippos, elephants, buffaloes and birds at the shores. Day 3: Murchison-Kibale National Park
Early breakfast, and drive to Kibale national park via southern part of the park via the Great Rift Valley escarpments and take scenic sightseeing amazing photographs, lunch en-route! After drive with the unforgettable view of the fabled mountain of the moon. Dinner and overnight at Kibale primate cottages/Kibale safari lodge/Kibale forest camp. Meal plan: F/B
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi walk
Early breakfast, enter the forest in search for chimpanzees the experience is quiet exciting and adventurous. Expect to see other species of primates such as Baboons, Red Columbus monkey, Black and white Columbus monkey, Grey cheeked mangabeys, Red tailed monkey, Birds like sun birds, Turaco, pitas and other bird species, butter fly species etc. Lunch after take a leisurely walk at Bigodi/Magombe swamp to search for the rare shoe bill/Sitatunga and other primates. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day 5: Kibale-Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and as you enter take en-route game drive to sport variety of Uganda wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, topi, oribi, and warthogs among others. Lunch and after check in as you wait for your dinner and overnight at Mweya lodge/Katara lodge/Enganzi lodge/Bush lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day 6: Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Dawn game drive through the Kasenyi sector and the queens’ mile in the park and will reward you with animals like Lions, elephants, hyenas, Giant forest hogs, Bush bucks, Warthogs, Hyenas, civets, aardvarks, Leopards, and many more. Lunch, after in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on the Kazinga channel that connects lakes Edward and George. The launch cruise will reward you with game like hippos, elephants, buffaloes and birds at the shores. Return to camp for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day 7: Final day of your 7 Days Uganda Safari. Kyambura Chimp Walk-Kampala/Entebbe
Breakfast and after go for the Chimpanzee walk in the Kyambura Gorge and on this walk expect to spot other primates white and black Columbus, variety of bird species and variety of plants. After board the safari van and drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch and transfer to Entebbe airport for your return flight back home marking the end of your 7 Days Uganda Safari.
