Detailed Itinerary  

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

On your first day of the safari, our professional driver -guide will pick you up, briefs you about the safari. Then, set off to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda.  The driving journey covers 6 -7 hours, involving a stop at Nakayima Tree in Mubende for cultural exploration, visit to discover how a tree of 600 years offers blessings to the local people. Proceed your journey to the beautiful city of Fort Portal for lunch.

Depending on the time, you might you have visited the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru Caves. Check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and after, go meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Kanyanchu Reception Center. Have briefing on the guidelines of trekking chimpanzee mankind’s closest relatives. At 8:00am start the primate walk through the forest, lookout for the chimpanzee community.

On allocating them, you will be given one hour to observe their presence and enjoy photoshoot. Return to the lodge for lunch. Check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP.

Day 3: Morning game drive and launch cruise

Start your day with guided morning game drive in untouched wilderness of Queen Elizabeth, after having breakfast. Go enjoy game drive in wildlife rich Kasenyi Plain where you will view a plethora of wildlife species like lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, elephant, Uganda Kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, elands and warthogs as well as various bird species and reptiles like pythons and butterflies many more.

After a game adventure, return to the lodge for lunch. Enjoy delicious meals, be transferred to Mweya Peninsular at the banks of the Kazinga Channel for the boat cruise. Boat cruise on the Kazinga offers chances of seeing more animals of the park like hippos, Nile crocodiles, Uganda Kobs, elephant and bird species on the banks. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, check out and head out for a morning game drive southward toward IShasha sector. You will be able to watch the tree climbing lions relaxing on fig tree branches and leave for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with a lunch break at Savannah Resort Kihihi.

Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

You will transfer to the park headquarter for briefing about the dos and don’t gorilla trekking. After a morning breakfast. After briefing, you will head out into forest trails in search of the habituated gorilla family through the lead of the park rangers.

On finding them, you will be given an hour to observe their behavior, interact with them. Then after, descend to the park Headquarter for a trekking certificate and to the lodge for lunch. You will drive out of the park and transfer to Transfer National Park through Katuna border.

Arriving late evening to freshen up, enjoy a hot delicious meal and overnight stay.

Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking and Visit to the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village

Start with breakfast, then drive to the meeting point for golden tracking briefing. After, step into the jungle in search for these most playful primates and finding them takes 1 to 3hours. The trekking experience occupies the lower Slopers of the Virunga Volcanoes characterized by Bamboo Forest. You will find them jumping from one tree branch to another and observing an hour with them.

Later, go visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village for a taste of traditional Rwanda dishes, invigorating traditional dances and music. Dinner and an overnight.

Day 7: Depart for Kigali city

Enjoy breakfast and leave the park to Kigali city, have a tour of the City upon arrival. The tour allows you to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Site, craft market and local markets and others. Later ,enjoy lunch and be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
