5 days Lake Mburo, Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth Park Safari, is a safari designed to give you an opportunity to experience three National Parks in Western Uganda; seeing numerous animals in the wild and spending time with the endangered mountain gorillas.

Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo, boat ride, night game drive
- Travel to Lake Mburo: Day one of the 5 days Lake Mburo, Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth Park Safari, you will be either in Kampala or Entebbe; you will be up early have breakfast and at 8am, link up with the tour guide to head to Lake Mburo National Park.
- boat ride: You will arrive in the park in the early afternoon, check into your accommodation, have lunch and after lunch head to the lake for an afternoon boat ride on the famous Lake Mburo. On this boat ride you will most water animals and birds that live in the park as you enjoy the cool water breeze.
- night game drive: After the boat ride you will head back to your accommodation for a little time to relax and at 5pm, you will head out for the evening game to see several animals that live in the Park. This game drive will go on till 7pm or 8pm and after you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 2: Morning game drive, travel to Bwindi
- Morning game drive: Day two of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi National Park and QENP Safari, you will be up pretty early at 5am and head to the wild to view more animals; the game drive will go on till 9am and you will then head to you accommodation to have breakfast, check out and continue south west to Bwindi National Park.
- travel to Bwindi: This day you will have lunch en route and you will arrive in Bwindi National Park in the late afternoon, check into your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Later you will have dinner and a night rest.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking
- Gorilla trekking: Day three of the 5 days Lake Mburo, Bwindi & Queen Elizabeth Park Safari, you will be up early, have breakfast and then head to the park headquarters at 7am for a mountain gorilla trek briefing. The briefing is to address your expectations and give you the needed guidelines for your gorilla trekking experience. You will head then head into the mountainous forest to search for the mountain gorillas with whom you will spend an hour. The entire trek will take between 6 to 7 hours and after the trekking experience you will head back to your accommodation for a late lunch and the rest of the day at leisure. Later you will have dinner and a night rest at your accommodation.
Day 4: Transfer to QENP– tree-climbing lions, Boat Ride
- Transfer to QENP: Day four of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi National Park and QENP Safari, you will be up early at 6am, have breakfast, check out of your accommodation and then embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ishasha.
- tree-climbing lions: In Ishasha you will stop to see tree climbing lions and after you will proceed to the park, where you will check into your accommodation, have lunch and then 2pm go to the Kazinga channel for amazing boat ride downstream. Among the creatures you will see on this ride you will see the famous shoe bill stork as well as many more animals.
- Boat Ride: The boat ride will end in the evening; you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 5: Morning game drive transfer to Kampala
- Morning game drive: Day five of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi National Park and QENP Safari will start very early at 5am. You will head out to the wild for an early morning game drive to view the various animals in the park. This game drive will go on till 10am and you will then head to your accommodation for breakfast, check out and then head to Kampala.
- transfer to Kampala: You will lunch en route and you will arrive in Kampala in the evening. The guide will drop you at a location of your choice in Kampala or Entebbe. That will be the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi National Park and QENP Safari.
