5 Days Rwanda Primates Safari
This 5 days Rwanda Gorilla safari takes you to the two Rwanda national parks (Nyungwe Forest National Park and Volcanoes National Park) which harbors the big African primates (Chimpanzees and Mountain gorillas) respectively. Activities to encounter on this safari are the unforgettable gorilla and chimpanzee trekking in the mist. This safari can be budget, mid-range or luxury.
Day 1: Kigali-Nyungwe Forest National Park
Have breakfast from your lodge of residence in Kigali city and after meet our guide/driver and then transfer to Nyungwe Forest with en-route to some cultural sites and lunch. After transfer to your lodge Nyungwe Forest Lodge/Nyungwe Hill Top Lodge/Gisakura Guest House for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: H/B
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Canopy Walk
Early morning cup of coffee and thereafter transfer to park headquarters for the briefing about the primates in the forest, after enter into the rain tropical forest to search for the shy chimpanzee species and other primates will be spotted and after return to lodge for lunch, and then in the evening experience the canopy walk on which you will see more fauna and floras, avian species, butterflies. Day 3: Nyungwe Forest-Volcanoes National Park
Take your breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to volcanoes national park, lunch en-route and on your arrival check in to Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Laplame Hotel/Muhabura Guest House for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B
Day 4: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking & Visit Twin Lakes
Take breakfast, after proceed to the park headquarters for briefing about the gorillas in the mist, and thereafter enter into the volcanoes jungle to trek the primates and when you meet the gorillas take amazing photos and videos. After return to the park office for your gorilla trekking certificate and then drive back to your lodge and relax. In the evening visit the twin lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) and over here you will spot variety of bird-life species. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking-Kigali
After breakfast, go for the golden monkey and other primates, birds, butterflies will be spotted. Lunch and after embark the safari vehicle and then transfer back to Kigali to your hotel or airport for your return flight ending this 5 Days Rwanda gorillas and Chimpanzee safari.
