This 6 Days Uganda Bwindi – Jinja & Mambaba Safari is typically a breathtaking safari itinerary that leads you into world’s home to half of the remaining mountain gorillas -Bwindi National Park.
Visit Lake Mburo National Park for game drive and Jinja tour for water rafting and end the tour to Mambaba to encounter the shoebill stork, among other species. This trip starts and ends in Kigali Rwanda.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi – ‘’1:30 hr.’
Depending on your location in Kigali, our driver guide will pick you up to start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes 4 to 5 hours through border crossing in Kabale. Continue with great views of rolling hills in Rwanda, terraced farmlands and beautiful scenery. Arriving at the park, check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge -Mid range, Buhoma Community Rest Camp -Budget.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, carry your packed lunch from the lodge before driving to the park headquarter for the gorilla trekking briefing. After briefing, you will be accompanied by the ranger in search of gorilla family which takes about 30minutes to 7 hours, depending on their movements in the forest.
When gorillas are found, one hour is given to the trekker to observe on how they survive in their nature habitant as well as enjoy capturing videos.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo – Night Game “4 hr.”
Wake up enjoy breakfast at the lodge, before transferring to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and relax at the lodge, before heading for evening game drive. During your game drive, expect to spot various antelopes, buffaloes and woodland bird species. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Rwakobo Lodge -Mid -Range.
Day 4: Transfer to Jinja -Water rafting – ‘4 – 5hr”
Enjoy yummy breakfast at the lodge, before departing to Jinja with a stop at the equator in Kayabwe for amazing photo shoot and water experiments. Enjoy picnic lunch. Proceed to Jinja and arrive in the evening. Check into your hotel for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Water rafting in Jinja
Wake up enjoy breakfast at the hotel , before leaving for water rafting experience where you will be helped by the skilled ranger through choosing range of grade to do. You can do half day water rafting which takes 2 hours and 30 minutes thus allowing you to come across 4 water rapids. Expect to witness good view of water bird hovering and the beautiful nature around. Dinner and an overnight stay at Two Friends – Midrange.
Day 6: Transfer to Mambaba & Uganda Zoo “3 hrs.’’
After your morning breakfast ate the hotel, drive to Mambaba in Entebbe for birding excursion with high possibility of viewing rarely shoe bill stork and other bird species such as Papyrus Gonolek, Africa Pygmy goose, Lesser jacana, Blue-breasted bee-eater, Blue- breasted bee- eater, Palm- nut vulture among others.
After, go visit the Zoo to interact with the shoe bills and other wildlife species. Later, you will be driven to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
