A Safari in Nyungwe National Park in Rwanda: Nyungwe Forest National Park is located in the Southwestern region of Rwanda considered to be the smallest national park in the country with a covering of a total surface area of about 300 square kilometers.

Nyungwe national park is also harboring around 300 bird species these include; Rwenzori turaco, purple-breasted sunbirds, Abyssinian ground thrush, yellow-eyed black flycatcher, red faced woodland warbler, stripe- breated tit, dusky crimsoning, grauer’s swamp warbler, handsome spur fowl, Albertine owlet, mountain masked apalis, blue-headed sunbird, dwarf honeyguide, yellow eyed black flycatcher and many others.

chimpanzee trekking is yet one of the other thrilling activities at the national park and this activity always takes about 2 to 3 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located, hence it always involves tourists walking through many parts of the national park with the aim of trekking where the chimps are located.
