Day 1: Airport pickup and Hotel Transfer
You will be welcomed upon arrival at Entebbe airport and transferred to the hotel in Kampala for Dinner and overnight stay at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Have an early breakfast and then head to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 180 km from Kampala. This sanctuary was started in 2005 as a project by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Rhino Fund project as an initiative to build a sustainable rhinoceros population and relocate rhinos back to their original habitat in Uganda’s protected areas. Here you will have a wonderful experience tracking the southern white rhinos. You will have Lunch in Masindi town and after that proceed to Murchison Falls National Park arriving late afternoon.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will head for a game drive on the northern sector of the park. Watch out for the Albert endemic birds and Rothschild giraffes, buffalos, elephants and if you’re lucky lions and leopards. You will have lunch then take wonderful boat cruise to the bottom part of the Murchison Falls where you will see how the Nile marvelously squeezes its way through a 7 meter wide gorge. You will get out of the boat and conduct a guided nature walk to the top of the falls where you will find your driver waiting to transfer you back to the Lodge.

Day 4: Murchison falls to Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast,you will set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en-route Fort Portal, a town at the south-western side of Uganda. This day will be a long driving day of 9 to 10 hours. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 5: Game drive and Launch Cruise
Have breakfast and go for a game drive where you will encounter lots of Uganda wildlife including elephants, lions, and buffaloes among others. You will also visit the Katwe salt pans where you will find locals engaged in salt mining – an experience for the kids! Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel famed for its highest concentration of hippos in Africa. You will also get to observe more game here, birds of different species and crocodiles. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi
After an early break first you will head for the beautiful Special boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. The channel is 40 wide and offers beautiful scenery of hundreds of hippos along the banks as well as different bird species seen when cruising west towards Lake Edward.
After boat cruise, you back to the lodge for checking out or if you had it in the morning, then proceed to southwards to the Ishasha sector of the park which is a home for tree climbing lions. Towards your destination, you will have a pleasant view of the Uganda kob, elephants and some birds of riverine and savanna habitats. Proceed to Bwindi arriving late afternoon.

Day 7: Mountain Gorilla trekking
You are warming up for the gorilla tracking. You will drive further south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is of Uganda´s oldest and most diverse rain forests. The “impenetrable” forest is also home to more than 320 mountain gorillas, 400 species of plants, 120 species of mammals and over 350 species of birds.
Certainly one of the most exciting days of your safari; today you will be gorilla tracking. Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 8 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from one to seven hours. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away

Day 8: Entebbe & departure
After breakfast, you embark on your journey back to Entebbe which lasts for about 8-9 hours. You will enjoy lunch en-route in Mbarara town and proceed to Kampala arriving in the afternoon. Continue to Entebbe and drop-off at the airport for your onward flight.
