Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo, afternoon boat cruise, night game drive.
Day one of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari, will find you in either Kampala or Entebbe, the guide will pick you at 8am and together you will travel west to Lake Mburo National Park.
You will arrive in park in the midmorning or early afternoon, check into your accommodation and have lunch.
After lunch you will go out to the lake for an afternoon boat ride to chill, refresh and see some fauna and flora.
After the boat ride you will head back to your accommodation for the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
In the evening you will have dinner and at 6pm head out for a night game drive that will go on till 8pm.
You will after head to your accommodation for a night rest.
Day 2: Early morning game drive, horseback riding
Day two of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari, you will be up early and head into the park for a morning game drive that will go on till 9am. After the game drive you will head back to your accommodation for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure
In the late afternoon you will go out for horseback riding experience, and after the experience you will head to your accommodation for dinner and a night rest.
Day 3: Travel to Kampala
Day three of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari, you will be up at leisure, have a meal, if you are up to it, have short activity in the park and after check out of your accommodation and head to Kampala.
This day you will have dinner and a night rest in Kampala.
Day 4: Travel to Mabira, source of the Nile
Day four of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari, you will be up at 6am, have breakfast and then head east to Jinja. On your way, your first stop will be Mabira forest, where you will have a forest tour and zip lining experience.
The Mabira forest experience will take up all morning and you will be done in the early afternoon, drive to Jinja town where you will have lunch and chill.
Later in the afternoon you will go for the source of the Nile tour and after the tour you will head to your accommodation, check in, refresh, have dinner and a night rest.
Day 5: White water rafting, End of trip.
Day five of the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari, you will be up early have breakfast and then check out of your accommodation and head to Itanda falls.
This day is a full day of water adventures that include but not limited to white water rafting, water jetting and many more.
You will have a lunch break during the activities, where you will have lunch or snacks. The water activities will end at about 3pm and you will have snacks, relax for a little while before you head to Kampala.
You will be in Kampala in the late evening and the tour guide will drop you at a location of your choice.
With that the 5 days Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja Safari will have come to an end.
