This 7 Days Uganda Safari Tour that is exclusive of Gorilla Trekking will let you explore the wilderness of Uganda by travelling to various national parks & carrying out a couple of Uganda tourism activities.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park
Youwill be picked up from an agreed location in Kampala or depart from our office and drive to Murchison falls national park. It will take you around 5 hours from Kampala with lunch en-route in Masindi town. You will enter through Kichumbanyobo gate. Paraa covers a distance of about 85km from Masindi town by the shortest route. You will visit the top of the falls and then proceed to Fort Murchison Lodge.
Optional activity: Stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary ($75)
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise – Murchison Falls
Early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you will spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will have breakfast and then drive to Kibale. En-route, you will visit the amabere ganyinamwiru stalagmites and waterfalls site in Fort Portal and the crater lakes. Have lunch and proceed to Kibale arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest guest house.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking – Kibale forest
Take early morning breakfast and go for briefing and start chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.
After trekking you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoilt nature! Later transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi game lodge
Day 5: Game drive and launch cruise- Queen Elizabeth National Park
you will go for early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and visit the Katwe salt pans where you will encounter the locals undertaking salt mining.
Have lunch and in the afternoon, go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will spot various wildlife like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various birds, most of them on the sandbanks. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 6: Transfer Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch arriving Lake Mburo in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Eagle’s Nest Lodge.

Day 7: Game drive and transfer back Kampala
Enjoy an early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo also graze the area together with the newly introduced Giraffes. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch, then drive to Kampala and drop-off at your lodge or Entebbe airport for your onward flight.
