1 Day Source of the Nile tour is one of the shortest Uganda Safari Tours whereby a traveler experiences the Source of the longest in the world i.e. River Nile. The 1 Day Source of the Nile tour will give you a 1-day opportunity to experience the source of the Nile and mountain bike to explore the diverse flora on the Nile.

Source of the Nile: The longest river in the world has its source on Lake Victoria, with the source spot in Jinja; the spot is where the Nile River begins its journey through several countries all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.

Detailed Safari

• Transfer to Jinja: For this tour, you can start from Kampala City or Entebbe Airport, but keep in mind, wherever you start from, you will have an hour edge or delay respectively to your time of arrival at the source of the Nile. You will be up early, have breakfast and head to Jinja at the source of the Nile. You will have to be at the source of the Nile by 8 am; in time for mountain biking.
• Mountain Bike Experience: The mountain biking experience allows you to explore the Nile topography and diverse flora and gives you a run for your fitness. The Biking experience takes about 3 hours and after the experience, you will relax and have lunch.
• Boat Cruise/Ride: After lunch, you will take a boat ride on the River Nile to the spot of the source of the Nile; on the boat ride you will also get a chance to admire the diverse flora on the Nile and a few water birds that live on the Nile.
• Return to Kampala: After this, you will set off for your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport.

You will be in either of these towns in the evening and the guide will drop you at a location of your choice in either town.
